Rules for the evening
This event is planned to give our teens a special formal evening of their own, where they may dine with their friends and dance to their favorite music. A well chaperoned event that is conducive to teens coming by themselves or with a friend. The evening promises to be one that will create lasting memories.
If you come as a couple...
Within each couple, one person must be a homeschooler in the 9-12th grade.
Guests over age 21 are not permitted.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and presented at the door.
If you come as a single...
Gentlemen- Gentlemen are expected to always have an eye open for unattached ladies so that an inquiry can be made as to whether the lady would like to dance.
Ladies-When a gentleman asks a lady to dance she is generally expected to agree unless one of two situations applies. Either (A) she has already been engaged for that particular dance by another gentleman or (B) she was sitting that particular dance out because she is being winded. To refuse one gentleman and then accept another for the very same dance is concidered the height of bad manners.
Chaperones
A total of 10 pre-approved adult chaperones will be present the entire evening.
All parents will be asked to drop off their participants at the door and pick up by midnight.
